We are excited to announce the selection of our new Travel Baseball and Softball managers for the 2026/2027 season!

Please join us in congratulating the following coaches on their selection. After a thorough vetting process, we are confident each manager selected will represent our park with integrity and competitive spirit.

With the selection of these coaches, we are also pleased to announce open tryout dates for each team. All participants must register for tryouts on the NYBSA Travel webpage. See below for additional information and FAQs

Travel Team Tryouts FAQs

When do registrations open? 
Registrations are currently open for the 2026/2027 travel season. Registrations close at 8:00AM on the final day listed for tryouts for that specific team. Please note: you MUST be registered in order to try out. Walk-ups will not be accepted.

How do I register for a travel tryout? 
Visit the NYBSA Travel page and you can select the team you wish to try out for. When you select the team, it will take you to the NYBSA TeamSnap sign up page where you can register your player. Please be sure to fill out all requested information when registering.

Which team should I try out for? 
The age cutoff for each age level is April 30, 2027. The player must the same age of the team or younger as of April 30, 2027. For age groups with multiple teams, you may try out for both teams, but please be sure to register for each team separately.

Is there a cost to try out for a travel team? 
No, there is no charge to try out for a travel team.

How many tryouts per team do I need to attend?
Players only need to attend one tryout session. When registering for tryouts, you must select a tryout date if there are multiple dates available. This will allow managers to more efficiently plan their tryout.

Where do tryouts take place? 
All tryouts will take place at Pinckneyville Park: 4758 S Old Peachtree Rd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30071

What if I can’t make the listed tryout dates? 
Please reach out directly to the individual travel team manager to discuss your options.

What should I bring to tryouts? 
Players should arrive in full baseball/softball attire and should bring cleats, a glove, bat, and helmet. Catchers should bring their equipment.
